• WEST AKRON — Families can celebrate the Easter season at the Christ Child Society’s Breakfast With the Easter Bunny April 8 at 10 a.m. at St. Sebastian’s Zwisler Hall, 426 Mull Ave. The event will include pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, muffins, games, a cake walk, face painting, balloon animals, basket raffle, entertainment and special guest the Easter Bunny. Reservations are due by March 29. The costs are $6 for adults and $4 for children for admission, $2 for photos with the Easter Bunny and 50 cents per chance for the Easter basket raffle. Three free raffle tickets will be awarded for every new baby item, book or toy donated to the Christ Child Society. Reservations can be mailed to Pat Bedell, 71 Mayfield Ave., Akron, OH 44313, with checks made payable to Christ Child Society.
• LODI — On April 8, Prime Outlets-Lodi will host its second annual Bunny Breakfast & Egg Hunt to benefit Akron Children’s Hospital. The Bunny Breakfast will start at 9 a.m. in the Prime Outlets-Lodi Food Court featuring breakfast food donated by Bob Evans. Tickets for the breakfast are $3 for children and $6 for adults. The free Egg Hunt for children ages 2-12 will include more than 15,000 eggs filled with candy, toys and chances to win prizes. Registration for the Egg Hunt begins at 10 a.m. in the food court. The Egg Hunt will begin at 10:30 a.m. for children ages 5 and younger and at 11 a.m. for ages 6 and older. All proceeds from the Bunny Breakfast, sponsored by Prime Outlets-Lodi, will benefit Akron Children’s Hospital. Last year’s event raised more than $1,700. Tickets are available at Prime Outlets-Lodi Guest Services or the Akron Children’s Hospital Development Department.
