ABA releases judicial candidate ratings
DOWNTOWN AKRON — The Akron Bar Association (ABA) Commission on Judicial Candidates evaluates candidates for local judgeships. Ratings are based on integrity, legal knowledge and ability, professional experience, judicial temperament, diligence, personal responsibility and public and community service, according to the ABA.
The commission, chaired by Virginia Robinson, evaluated 11 candidates who filed for the May 2 Primary Election. These ratings stand through the November General Election, although the commission may interview subsequent independent candidates who file later.
