WEST AKRON — Pictured at

Path, where a fire broke out during the afternoon of
March 27, causing extensive damage but no injuries,
according to Akron Fire Department Inspector Todd Webb.
Webb said the occupants were home at the time the fire occurred. The exact cause is still under investigation, but it does not appear to be suspicious, said Webb.
The Akron Fire Department responded at 3: 48 p.m. with three engines and two ladder trucks, and the fire was under control by 4:28 p.m., Webb said. A fourth engine was present to do a fire watch. Units were on the scene until shortly after 8 a.m. March 28.
