Metro Parks swim passes available soon
SUMMIT COUNTY — Season passes for lake swimming at Munroe Falls Metro Park, 521 S. River Road, and Silver Creek Metro Park, 5000 Hametown Road in Norton, will go on sale April 3. Both swimming areas will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. May 27 through Aug. 27.
Swimmers can buy season passes online at www.summit metroparks.org. Before May 27, individual passes for Summit County residents cost $25 for adults and teens and $10 for ages 2-12. The out-of-county rate is $30 for adults and teens and $15 for ages 2-12. After May 27, the rates increase by $5. Children younger than 2 are admitted for free.
A season pass or daily fee is required for entry to Munroe Falls Metro Park during the swim season and for entry to the beach area at Silver Creek Metro Park.
Daily admission is $4 for adults and teens and $3 for ages 2-12.
