GREATER AKRON — Coldwell Banker Hunter Realty and the American Cancer Society are raising money to provide camp scholarships for children with cancer. Children may choose any camp to attend, and the scholarships are available through an application process. Each eligible child who receives a Camps of Hope scholarship will receive $1,000 to help defray the cost of camp. The project is part of Coldwell Banker Hunter Realty’s yearlong 25th anniversary celebration. The real estate company will match donations up to $40,000 that are made prior to May 1. Many Coldwell Banker Hunter Realty offices in the 10-county Northeast Ohio area are planning community wide fund- raisers, as well. Coldwell Banker Hunter Realty, located at 3394 W. BATH — Mustard Seed Market and Café is celebrating 25 years of pioneering natural foods standards in 2006. As part of the yearlong celebration, the restaurants have donated a portion of the sales from the Mardi Gras weekend at the end of February, and $2,000 has been sent to Habitat for Humanity in New Orleans to help rebuild the lives of the hurricane victims. Owners Margaret and Phillip Nabors said they are proud to support Habitat for Humanity and thank everyone who dined in the Montrose and Solon cafés during the Mardi Gras specials.
