NORTON — The city of Norton and its supplier, WPS Energy Services Inc., have reached an agreement for the November 2006 through October 2007 period to offer the rate of $11.995 per thousand cubic feet for a natural gas aggregation program for Norton residents. Residents already enrolled will automatically be re-enrolled in the program for the next period unless they choose to opt out of it. The opt-out period runs Sept. 26 to Oct. 17. Anyone in another program and interested in joining the city’s aggregation program should call WPS Energy Services Inc. at (866) 977-9911.
