CVNP — The Cuyahoga Valley National Park Association (CVNPA) is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Towpath Tag Program with a series of events along the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail.
The program provides Towpath users an opportunity to help support the operation of the Towpath Trail.
Towpath Tag anniversary events will take place each Sunday during October from noon to 4 p.m. The remaining schedule of events is:
Scavenger Hunt, Oct. 15: Hunt for CVNP’s natural treasures along the Towpath;
Towpath Tag Spies, Oct. 22: Get “caught” wearing an old Towpath Tag by spies along the trail and win a free gift; and
Tasty Treats and Kid Crafts, Oct. 29: Enjoy hot apple cider and donuts while children participate in a fall craft activity.
The anniversary events will take place at the Canal Visitor Center, Station Road Bridge Trailhead, Boston Store, Lock 29 Trailhead and Hunt Farm Visitor Information Center.
