• NEW FRANKLIN — Manchester United Methodist Church, 5625 Manchester Road, will present “Fun Day” for children ages 2-12 whose parent is a veteran or member of the military Dec. 2 from 4 to 8 p.m. Admission is free, in appreciation of veterans and their families. A light supper will be provided for the children. Call the church at (330) 882-4818 by Nov. 28 to register or for more information.
• WOODBURY, N.J. — The Online Civilian Conservation Corps Museum is seeking stories about the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), CCC enrollees, staff or technical advisers, as well as WWII veterans for publication in this online historical resource.
