Portage Lakes community raises funds for those in
need

GREEN — The Portage Lakes community showed it cares at the annual Portage Lakes Cares Inc. Holiday Benefit Nov. 11 at Chenoweth Golf Course banquet center. The benefit, which included a silent auction and a raffle, entertainment and an hors d’oeuvres buffet, raised more than $20,000. Approximately 275 people attended the event.
