Santa Claus has come to town!

FAIRLAWN — Area children
brought their lists and wishes to Summit Mall Nov. 17
for the official arrival of Santa Claus.
Santa, portrayed for the 12th year by Doug Colbert, of Goodyear Heights, made his way through the mall following a live reindeer provided by Cherry Hill Farms, shown below.
His arrival celebrations included a performance by tap dancers from the Star Maker Performing Arts Center in Norton. The dancers, pictured at bottom (not in order), included Sara Rose, Bridgette Parkins, Courtney Slabaugh and Kalley Ryan, all 10.
Pictured above visiting with Santa are, from left, Phyllis Thompson, of Cuyahoga Falls, cousins
Tylir,
5; Haley, 4; Kyia, 7; and Sydney Saxon, 2, and Angela
Saxon, of Norton. Angela is Haley and Sydney’s
mom, and Tylir and Kyia are the granddaughters of Thompson.
Santa will be available to hear Christmas wishes Mondays through Saturdays from noon to 8 p.m. (he takes a break from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m.) and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m., with a break from 2:15 to 2:45 p.m., through Dec. 24.
