Racers run for top spots in Pinewood Derby

FAIRLAWN — Cub Scout Pack 3390 hosted its annual Pinewood Derby at Herberich Primary School Jan. 20, when 48 cars raced to see who would claim the top spot in their divisions.
The crowd was treated to several
thrilling heats as the miniature racers broke track
records, posting speeds in excess of 137 miles per hour.
Electronic timers captured finishing times up to a thousandth
of a second.
