NORTHEAST OHIO — Bath resident Timothy Fitzwater, retired president and chief executive officer of National City Bank’s Northeast Region, has joined the Northeast Ohio Sourcing Office (NEO|SO) Board of Directors. Launched in 2005, NEO|SO is a council of governments that is a vehicle for Northeast Ohio’s governmental entities to aggregate their purchasing power to save time and money, avoid costs and enhance service levels. NEO|SO’s membership encompasses 42 governments across six counties. Fitzwater serves on the boards of the Summit County United Way, Akron Community Foundation and Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens, among others.
