Boys bridge Scouting levels

COPLEY — On Feb. 20, Cub Scout Pack 3390 held its annual Blue & Gold awards banquet at Copley High School.
Cubmaster Dale Sroka began the evening with a introduction of the pack committee, and a crowded hall watched the final presentation of colors by the Webelos, who were crossing over to become Boy Scouts. A host of boys also received recognition, including Tiger Cub, Wolf, Bear and Webelos achievement badges.
Special recognition was given to those Scouts who have earned Cub Scouting’s highest award, The Arrow of Light. These Scouts participated in the Crossing the Bridge ceremony, which symbolizes their transition from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts by walking across a special bridge with their parents.
