Bliss Institute director to address ‘Faith Factor’
at Roundtable
WEST AKRON — John Green, director of the Ray C. Bliss Institute of Applied Politics at The University of Akron (UA) and Senior Fellow, Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life, will address the Akron Roundtable luncheon April 19 at 11:45 a.m. at Tangier restaurant, 532 W. Market St.
Green, who has completed extensive research on American religion and politics, political parties and campaign finance, will present “The Faith Factor: How Religion Influences American Elections.”
A distinguished professor of political science at UA, Green was recognized as an Outstanding Faculty Member in 1989 and 1994. Prior to joining UA, he taught political science at Furman University.
