Planning and Zoning Commission will

NEW FRANKLIN — New Franklin City Council will meet to review the Unified Development Code April 17 at 4:30 p.m. at the Administration/Police Building, 5611 Manchester Road.
SOUTH SUMMIT — Summit County Councilwoman Paula Prentice (District 8) will host two district meetings, including: April 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the Akron-Summit County Mogadore Branch Library, 144 S. Cleveland Ave.; and April 19 at 7 p.m. at the Interval Brotherhood Home, 3445 S. Main St. in South Akron. DOWNTOWN AKRON — The Summit County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society will meet April 21 at 1 p.m. at the Akron-Summit County Main Branch Library, 60 S. High St., in rooms 2A and 2B. Judy James, director of the library’s Special Collections Division, will speak on the genealogical collections and holdings of the library.

STARK COUNTY — Parents Without Partners (PWP), open to all ages, will meet for the following events:

√ April 21 from 8 p.m. to midnight. Meet at 9:30 p.m. to decorate for the dance celebrating the PWP Chapter 231 40th birthday at the Mayfield Center, 3825 13th St. S.W. The dance is open to all singles age 21 and older. The cost is $6 for members and $8 for nonmembers. Soft drinks will be available for purchase. A snack to share would be appreciated;
