DOWNTOWN AKRON — A Parkinson’s Disease Support Group meeting will take place April 17 at 6 p.m. at Neurology & Neuroscience Associates, 130 W. GREEN — The Chapel will offer a workshop session to help participants through the loss of a loved one. GriefShare is a 13-week video seminar featuring nationally recognized experts on grief and recovery. DOWNTOWN AKRON — The Autism Society of America Greater Akron Chapter, along with ASPIES and Spark, will present Sondra Williams speaking on “How to Bait the Hook on Autism” April 17 at 7 p.m. at Akron Children’s Hospital’s William Considine Building auditorium. No reservations are needed. Williams is a woman with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and shares her perspective on life through text and poetry. As a wife, mother to four children with ASD, a classroom aide and a member of the Ohio Autism Task Force, Williams provides information and support for others dealing with an ASD.
