Devers, DeHart marry in Columbus
Carrie
Ann Devers and Nathan Earle DeHart were married Oct.
28, 2006, in Columbus by the Rev. Rod Dipietro.
Devers is the daughter of Thomas and Molly Devers, of Powell. DeHart is the son of Robert and Marilyn DeHart, of Bath.
Christina Grissett served as the matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Michelle Rheinfrank, Lindy Davis and Krista Butcher.
The best man was David Butcher, and the groomsmen were Evan Riser, Bernie Reish and Paul DeHart.
Maya Grissett and Hannah Cumbow were flower girls, and Seth McDonald was the ring bearer.
Carrie graduated in 1999 from Franklin University with a bachelor’s degree in business with a marketing minor and is employed at Victoria’s Secret Direct Marketing as a senior marketing analyst.
Nathan graduated in 2001 from Cleveland State University with a bachelor’s degree in sports marketing. He is employed at Midwest Funding Group as a senior mortgage broker.
The reception took place at the
Brookshire and the couple honeymooned in Puerto
Vallarta, Mexico. The couple now reside in Westerville.
Bethem, Phillips exchange vows
Courtney
Bethem and Segev Phillips were united in marriage Sept.
3, 2006, at the home of the bride’s parents in
Bath. Rabbi Eric Bram officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Daniel and Mary Jo Bethem. The groom is the son of Mark and Aviva Phillips, of Oak Park, Mich.
Rachel Siegel, a college friend of the bride, was the maid of honor. Ian Miller, a law school classmate of the groom, was best man.
A 1997 graduate of Revere High School, Courtney earned her bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and is currently in the MBA program at the Kenan-Flagler School of Business at the University of North Carolina. Segev graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in mechanical engineering and is a third-year law student at Duke University School of Law.
Following the garden wedding, a reception took place at Fairlawn Country Club. The couple honeymooned in Costa Rica and reside in Chapel Hill, N.C.
Allen, Hurd to marry
Jennifer Allen, of Norton, is engaged to be married to Aaron Hurt, of Parkersburg, W. Va., on Jan. 5, 2008.
Jennifer is the daughter of Dale and Kellie Allen, of Norton, and Aaron is the son of Art and Carol Hurd, of Copley. The bride-to-be graduated from Norton High School in 2004 and plans to graduate from Cedarville College in December with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education.
The groom-to-be graduated from Copley High School in 2002 and from The University of Akron in December 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in emergency management. He is a fire investigator for Casalinova Investigations in Ohio and Parkersburg, W. Va.
Bretzfelder, Bohn to marry
Alisha Bretzfelder, daughter of
Yvonne Bretzfelder, of Highland Square, and Edward Bretzfelder,
of Cleveland, is engaged to be married to Russell Bohn,
son of Arnold and Delphine Bohn, of Auburn, Pa.
Alisha has a bachelor’s
degree from The University of Akron and a master’s
degree from Kent State University. She is a Spanish
and French teacher for Streetsboro City Schools.
Russell attended Lincoln Technical Institute and is a maintenance technician at the Akron Zoological Park.
The couple planned to be married April 7 in Las Vegas and will reside in Highland Square.
Gordon, Calaway engaged
Jessica Gordon and Jacob Calaway are engaged to be married on June 16, 2007, in Shadyside.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allan Turk, of Shadyside, and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Gordon, of Moundsville, W. Va.
The groom is the son of Renay Sanders and David Calaway, of Peninsula.
Jessica graduated from Shadyside High School in 1996. She is a 2000 graduate of Otterbein College and earned a master’s degree in 2001 from American University. She is employed as a marketing manager at Fekete & Co. Jacob is a 1997 graduate of Woodridge High School and a 2002 graduate of Otterbein College. He is employed as a student services coordinator at ECOT.
Ryan, Hermann plan to marry
Rick and Pat Ryan, of Norton, announce
the engagement of their son, Doug Ryan, to Rebecca Hermann,
daughter of John and Jody Hermann, of Norton.
The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Norton High School and is attending The University of Akron, majoring in education and speech pathology.
Doug is a 2005 graduate of Bowling Green State University and is currently employed with the U.S. Air Force.
The couple will marry in August 2007 and plan to reside in Charleston, S.C.
Balistreri, Brewster to wed
Janie Balistreri, daughter of Joe
and Mary Jo Balistreri, of Howard, is engaged to be
married to Robert A. Brewster, son of Robert and Jeannette
Brewster, of Fairlawn.
The bride-to-be is a 1998 graduate of Pickerington High School and a 2002 graduate of The Ohio State University. She is a marketing representative for AAA Insurance. The groom-to-be is a 1998 graduate of Walsh Jesuit High School and a 2002 graduate of Ohio University. He is a district business sales manager at Liberty Mutual.
The wedding will take place May 19, 2007, at St. Edward the Confessor Parish in Granville.

David and Barbara Gehring, of Akron,
announce the engagement of their daughter, Anne Elizabeth
Gehring, of Brookline, Mass., to Bradford David Reepmeyer,
of Brookline, Mass., son of William and Susan Reepmeyer,
of Bloomfield Hills, Mich.
Anne is a 1995 graduate of Firestone High School and a 2000 graduate of Bowling Green State University. She is employed at Starwood Hotels and Resorts as a sales manager.
The groom to be is a 1992 graduate of Seaholm High School and a 1996 graduate of Miami University. He is employed at ADP as a regional sales manager.
A Sept. 8, 2007, wedding is planned in Columbus.
