COPLEY — Visiting Nurse Service and The Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service Center for Loss and Hope is still accepting reservations for Camp Promise. This free camp runs June 11-13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to help children ages 6-11 process a significant loss, such as a parent, grandparent or sibling. The children will learn to manage and understand their grief through creative activities such as drama, music, art and sandtray therapy. A morning snack and boxed lunch will be provided each day. A staff of facilitators will oversee the children as they go through the creative stations. The camp will take place at the Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Road, and is being sponsored by the Westminster Presbyterian Church. For more information or to register a child, call Rochelle Sheppard at (330) 668-4662.
