DOWNTOWN AKRON — The TableTalk topic for June will be “Happiness Is the Enemy of Joy,” given by the Rev. Knute Larson, pastor of The Chapel. TableTalk will take place June 6 at noon at Greystone Hall, 103 S. High St. Parking is available in lots adjacent to and across the street from the facility. The cost for the buffet lunch is $11. Lunch begins at noon, followed by the message at 12:30 p.m. The reservation deadline is June 4 at noon. CUYAHOGA FALLS — Children in kindergarten to sixth grade are invited to join the Kidz Worship Experience at Broadman Baptist Church, 350 E. Bath Road, each Sunday at 11 a.m. The new Kidz Worship Zone will be filled with rockin’ worship, cool teaching and intense small groups, according to church officials. NORTON — Grace Church, 3970 Cleveland-Massillon Road, will offer Vacation Bible School (VBS) June 25-28 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. for children age 3 through fifth grade. The theme, “Grace Goin’ West,” will include Bible lessons through cowboy/western-themed drama, music, crafts, games and snacks. The week also will include the annual boys vs. girls Penny Parade fund-raiser for a special mission project. The week will conclude June 29 with a communitywide celebration Hoedown at 6:30 p.m. in the church parking lot, with food, games and prizes. Parents are invited to attend with their children. There will be no regular VBS classes or child care during the Friday night event. Parents are asked to fill out a registration form, available at the church, for the VBS.
