Copley youth baseball team wins championship
COPLEY — The Copley-Fairlawn Athletic Association’s (CAA) 13-year-old travel team, the Indians, won the championship in the Parma Youth Baseball Association’s annual Mother’s Day Tournament, which took place the weekend of May 12-13.
According to the team, eight squads competed in the tournament. The Indians defeated the Parma Stars in the championship game by a score of 7-6.
During the tournament, the Indians advanced by defeating Schirmer Construction and Midview Magic by a combined run differential of 31 to 3.
