Revere board contracts with
OSBA in search for superintendent
BATH/RICHFIELD — The Revere Local Schools District’s Board of Education has contracted with the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) to assist with the search for a new superintendent.
“The board is pleased to have access to the professional search services of the OSBA,” said Revere Board President Diana Sabitsch. “They have been conducting administrative searches since 1981 and have an excellent track record. We are especially pleased that the OSBA has designed a customized search program to meet our specific needs.”
According to search consultant Kathy LaSota, OSBA approaches the process from the board’s perspective, ensuring complete board control over all key decisions.
“It has been possible to expedite the search process due to the Board of Education’s ability to identify essential criteria and expectations early through their prior recruitment and screening efforts,” she said.
OSBA has tapped a network of associations, search consultants, educational institutions and qualified candidates and will continue that effort until the closing date for application, which is tomorrow, May 25.
According to a tentative timeline, the next superintendent will be named by the end of June.
