Summit County government employees receive awards
SUMMIT COUNTY — Summit County Employee Recognition Day took place recently to honor government employees. The following received awards:
2007 Cliff Skeen Lifetime Achievement Award: retired Summit County Clerk of Courts Diana Zaleski;
Summit Country Executive James McCarthy’s 2007 High Point Award: Susan DeChant, of Silver Lake; Marty Harbin, of Akron; Ken Knodel, of Green; and Chuck Spitali, of Akron;
Summit County Clerk of Courts Daniel Horrigan’s High Point Award: Jeannie Bozak, of Norton, and Gwen Rogers, of Akron;
Summit County Engineer Greg Bachman’s High Point Award: Jeff Sabo, of Copley; Walt Salyer, of Akron; and David White, of Akron;
Summit County Fiscal Officer John Donofrio’s High Point Award: Chief of Staff Shelly Davis and Terry Hinkle, of Akron;
Summit County Prosecutor Sherri Bevan Walsh’s High Point Award: Kristen Arapp, of Akron; Merle Payne, of Akron; Brenda Robinson, of Akron; and John Ventura, of Norton;
Summit County Sheriff Drew Alexander’s High Point Award: Sue Conley, of Akron; Kelly Pongracz, of Akron; and Jolene Roth, of Fairlawn;
Summit County Council President Nick Kostondaras’ High Point Award: William Mills III, of Copley; Kristin Jacobs, of Kent; and Summit County Councilman Frank Comunale (D-District 4), of West Akron;
Summit County Domestic Relations Court Judge Carol Dezso’s High Point Award: Summit County Domestic Relations Court Administrator Ken Teleis and Elayne Stockdale, of Akron; and
Summit County Juvenile Court Judge Linda Tucci Teodosio’s High Point Award: Martha Jefferies, of Akron, and Jody Tolley, of Akron.
