Liberty Fitness and Weight Loss of Fairlawn has added Jennifer Hamilton as sales and marketing manager. She will be responsible for developing corporate and individual membership programs for women.
InfoCision Management Corp. has hired Michael Wimer, of Copley, as vice president of new business development for the nonprofit and volunteer recruitment divisions. In this role, Wimer is responsible for the execution of sales strategies for the divisions. He will identify the needs of potential and existing customers and sell appropriate services to meet those needs.
WRH Health System has welcomed William Johnson, of Cuyahoga Falls, to the position of administrative director of radiology. Johnson has a bachelor’s degree in allied health, radiological sciences and a master’s degree in business administration. In 2002, he became a Certified Radiology Administrator as designated by the American Healthcare Radiology Administrators.

Smart, of North Canton, will work as an interactive
project manager. Reed, of Cuyahoga Falls, will be a
marketing research assistant. Terry, of Mogadore, joins
as an accounting assistant in the accounting department.
WKSU has welcomed back
veteran journalist Mark
Urycki, an Akron native,
as the station’s new director of programming and
operations. Urycki returns to WKSU after a short stint
with WCPN and WVIZ/PBS-TV. He previously worked as a
reporter/producer at WKSU
from 1984 through 2005. During his decades at WKSU,
Urycki covered a variety of assignments and was named
“Best Reporter” by Ohio chapters of the
Society of Professional Journalists in 2000, among other
local and national awards.
The Akron Children’s
Hospital Physician Associates Fairlawn office has welcomed
Dr. Margaret Miller,
FAAP, to its pediatric primary care practice. Miller
joins Dr. Melisa Carmichael, Dr. Janis Galm, Dr. Manuel
Lugo, Dr. Susan Potter and Dr. Molly Shaw in treating
infants, children and teens in the full range of pediatric
medicine. Miller, who completed
her residency at Akron Children’s in 2005, returns
after working as a pediatrician at Portage Pediatrics
in Ravenna. She is board certified in pediatrics and
is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Brockman, Coats, Gedelian & Co. has made the following personnel changes: James Krosky, of Medina, formerly of Richfield, has been hired as manager of the company’s human resources consulting practice, under its affiliate BCG Resources Inc. With more than 13 years of human resources experience, Krosky has served as a human resources manager in both the construction and manufacturing industries. Carolyn Gearhart, a certified public accountant, is new to the firm’s valuation and litigation support practice. In the new role of senior associate, she will provide forensic services, conduct business valuations and perform economic damage calculations. Todd White has been hired as an associate in the firm’s tax practice, where he will have responsibility for the preparation of corporate, individual, partnership, fiduciary and other tax returns. In addition, Brett Fogel, Paul Scruggs Jr. and Jalisa Wise have accepted full-time positions with Brockman, Coats, Gedelian & Co. upon completion of their college internships and degree programs. As an accounting services associate, Fogel has responsibilities for 1099 compliance, as well as the preparation of compilations and reviews, tax returns and payroll. Scruggs has become a tax associate, responsible for the preparation of corporate, individual, partnership, fiduciary and other tax returns. Accounting services associate Wise prepares compilations and reviews, tax returns and payroll in addition to assuring 1099 compliance.
Schlabig & Associates Ltd., a regional certified public accounting firm, has appointed Kelly Nizzer Bates as firm administrator. Nizzer Bates will be responsible for day-to-day management of the firm. She is a member of the local and national chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Association of Accounting Administrators.
