Tea party is One of a Kind
WEST AKRON — One of A Kind Pets Rescue held its first tea party fund-raiser June 9.
Proceeds from the event, which took place at a West Akron residence, benefited One of a Kind Pets Rescue, a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to rescuing homeless animals and providing shelter and medical treatment for them. Raffle tickets also were purchased in support of the event, with all proceeds being applied to medical expenses for rescued animals.
Guests dined on an assortment of tea sandwiches, fresh fruit, scones and pastries. Some furry guests also attended the event, shown above.
