CNE presents summer training programs
NORTHEAST OHIO — The Center for Nonprofit Excellence
(CNE) will present a Brown Bag program July 10 from
11:30 to 1 p.m. that will help participants decide what
event to conduct, when it’s time to try something
new and if the event is really going to make money for
their mission. The program will be at CNE, 703 S. Main
St., Suite 200, in Downtown Akron.
Jan Purdy, a consultant and former vice president of planning and development at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, will present the program and answer questions.
Also, Basic Board Leadership Training will be presented for new board members, people considering board participation or those just wanting to brush up on the newest regulations and requirements for boards of directors of nonprofit organizations.
Jeff Vengrow, from CNE, will lead the program July 19 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Lakeland Community College in Kirtland.
CEO Circle — Financial Resource Development, with CNE Chief Executive Officer Elaine Woloshyn, will take place July 27 from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at CNE.
Summer trainings will conclude with a Young Nonprofit Professionals program Aug. 14 from 8 to 9:30 a.m.
