• NEW FRANKLIN — The South Summit Democrats will meet July 16 at 7 p.m. in New Franklin City Council Chambers, 5611 Manchester Road.
• GREEN — Green City Councilman Andy Padrutt (at large), one of five candidates for mayor of Green, has opened campaign headquarters at 3572 S. Arlington Road, just south of state Route 619. The office, located on the ground floor of a 100-year-old home, will be open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The office phone number is (330) 896-2639.
