SUMMIT COUNTY — Metro Parks,
Serving Summit County will offer the following free
concerts:
√ Friday Night Concert Series, Aug. 17 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Goodyear Heights Metro Park, 2077 Newton St. in East Akron. The Howard Street Blues Band will perform. Guests are asked to bring a blanket or chair to use. For more information, call (330) 375-2835.

Summer Concert, Aug. 19 at
5: 30 p.m. at F.A. Seiberling Nature
Realm’s Arboretum, 1828 Smith Road in West Akron.
Naturalists and songwriters Foster Brown and Mark Szabo
will perform. Foster is from Cleveland Metro-parks,
and Mark is the son of Bert Szabo, Metro Parks’
naturalist emeritus. Guests
are asked to bring a blanket or chair. If it rains,
the concert will be moved indoors to the auditorium.
