BARBERTON — Barberton Citizen’s Hospital’s Cardiac Rehab Program is now certified through the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation National Certification for three years. The review process took more than 10 months, with multiple submissions of documents and information through the efforts of cardiac rehabilitation nurse Vicki Lonteen, according to hospital officials. There are fewer than 30 hospitals in the state that have this recognition, according to hospital officials.
