• BARBERTON — The Committee to Elect John Casalinuovo Judge will host a fund-raiser for Casalinuovo, a candidate for the Barberton Municipal Court judge, tonight, Sept. 27, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Barberton Moose Lodge, 272 31st St. The event will include wine and cheese and piano playing. Admission to this fund-raiser is $100 per person.
• SHARON CENTER — The Medina County Democratic Party Annual Fall Jefferson Jackson Dinner & Silent Auction, sponsored by the Medina County Democratic Party Executive Committee, will take place Oct. 6, beginning with a cash bar at 6:30 p.m. and followed by a buffet dinner at 7:30 p.m., at the Sharon Party & Event Center, 6600 Ridge Road.
