Portage Path, Mondays through Thursdays from 10:30 a.m.
until 6:30 p.m. The AMOS Project is a student after-school
program that includes homework assistance, afternoon
snack, recreation time, arts and crafts and games. In
addition, students can participate in Teen Fellowship,
the West Akron Children’s Choir and other activities.

BATH — Books for Africa, which sends educational books from America to libraries in Africa, will host a joint rummage sale/craft sale with Ghent Christian Church’s Women’s Ministry Oct. 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, 4200 Granger Road. A light lunch also will be for sale.
