What makes you the best candidate for the position?
“I am an experienced businessman who understands the importance of strong fiscal management, adopting an annual budget that addresses the township’s needs and priorities, and making township dollars stretch as far as possible.
“I have an in-depth knowledge of township zoning regulations and understand the importance of educating property owners about these regulations.
“I believe strongly in the development of a new comprehensive long range plan for the township. The current plan is 11 years old and in need of a total rewrite. A well-developed comprehensive plan can serve to bring the right blend of residential and commercial development to sustain the township without over-taxing the property owners and our infrastructure.
“I support a proactive rather than reactive approach to township government. I will support working with adjacent political subdivisions to lessen the burden of services on the taxpayer.”
