Bath resident donates locks for good cause
FAIRLAWN — Jessica Congeni,
22, a Bath resident and University of Akron student,
recently had 10-and-a-half inches of her hair cut at
Jackie and Co. Hair Studio as part of a donation to
Locks of Love, a not-for-profit organization that provides
hair prosthetics for children who have developed long-term
medical hair loss.
Congeni said she made the donation
in honor of friends 16-year-old Lauren Braman, of Copley,
and 22-year-old Nicole Bodjanac, of Bath, both of whom
died of cancer in 2006.
