Rockynol dedicates Peace Pole

WEST AKRON — Rockynol Retirement
Community recently hosted a ceremony dedicating a Peace
Pole on its grounds.
The Rev. William Karg, of St.
Sebastian Church, serves as a member of Rockynol’s
Board and suggested Rockynol residents consider erecting
a peace pole on their grounds.
Rockynol Executive Director Leslie Belfance took the suggestion to the residents and a vote was taken. The residents agreed to erect a peace pole with the inscription “May Peace Prevail on Earth” in four languages.
