• BRECKSVILLE — The Cuyahoga Valley Career Center (CVCC) is offering a new adult education course in Beginner Tango. This class would best be taken with a partner, according to organizers. The cost is $50 for district residents and $60 for nonresidents. The CVCC district includes Revere Local Schools. For senior citizens, the cost is $20. • DOWNTOWN AKRON — The University of Akron Dance Company (UADC) will present its Fall 2007 Dance Concert Nov. 8-10 at 8 p.m. and Nov. 11 at 2 p.m. at the Paul A. Daum Theatre in Kolbe Hall, 328 Buchtel Common. The Dance Concert features works choreographed by four members of The University of Akron dance faculty. Dance styles range from ballet to modern dance. This concert also features a piece originally made for Lines Ballet by its founder, Alonzo King, and set on UA student dancers during a recent residency by Arturo Fernandez, dance master of Lines Ballet.
