What makes you the best candidate for the position?
“I’m the best candidate
for the Manchester School Board because of my 16 years
of experience on the board. Over the years, many tough
policy decisions have been made. My goal always has
been to decide what would
be best for the children of the district. I have a good
relationship with the community.
Having grown up in Manchester, I feel I know the values
and what is important to the people of Manchester. I
listen to the people of the community and use their
ideas and suggestions to help me decide on the important
issues of the day. Utilizing the Long Range
Planning Committee’s out
look on our schools also give me an indication what
the community thinks about the direction of the school
system. Having coached in the Manchester Youth Football
program for 35 years, I have proven my dedication to
the youth of Manchester. I have an interest in each
student. It is the board’s job to see every child
receives the best possible education.”

What makes you the best candidate for the position?
“I, LeAnn Nichols, acknowledge
how fortunate I have been to be elected to serve as
a Manchester Board Member these past four years. I believe
that the current five members have a strong team approach
and unity in working together with the Superintendent
and Treasurer. I take this position very seriously and
have on many occasions been the voice of questions concerning
issues and spending. I understand the value of team
work in conjunction with the community to accomplish
goals for our Children’s education and Manchester
Local Schools. I support
and encourage Long Range Planning that has been instituted
these last four years. I have been instrumental
in curriculum and policy changes to enhance learning.
I seek re-election to continue what has been started
with Prayer, Privilege and Panther Pride.”
