Kopp, Bogniard marry
Renee Kopp and Jason Roger Bogniard were united in marriage
July 14, 2007, at First United Methodist Church in Akron.
The Rev. Lynn Snider officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Harlan and Roberta Kopp, of Charlotte, N.C. She is a graduate of Mentor High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in special education from Kent State University. She is an intervention specialist with Orange Schools.
The groom is the son of John Bogniard, of North Canton, and Wendy Turrell Gains, of Copley. He graduated from Hoover High School, earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Ohio University and a master of business administration from Case Western University. He is employed as a financial analyst with Moore Stephens Apple in Cleveland.
The matron of honor was Melissa Morehart, of Cuyahoga Falls, longtime friend of the bride. Other longtime friends serving as bridesmaids were Jessica DeLapa Ports, of Cuyahoga Falls; Kelly Breedlove, of Brunswick; and Kim Carcelli, of Mayfield Heights.
Jeffrey Bogniard, brother of the groom, of Youngstown, served as best man. Groomsmen included childhood friends of the groom Jason Morgan and Michael Shonk, both of Columbus, and former college roommate John Ryan, of Cleveland.
The evening dinner reception took place at the Radisson City Centre in Downtown Akron. Special out-of-town guests for the bride included Debbie Rohrbach, of Boston, and Pat and Ginger Headen, of Charlotte, N.C. Many aunts, uncles and cousins of the groom also attended, some from as far away as Kansas City, as well as grandparents from Florida.
The couple honeymooned in Costa Rica and now reside in Stow.
Skelley, Soper united in marriage
Skelley and Jeffery Soper were united in marriage June
9, 2007, at Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens by the Rev.
Susana Margaret Goulder.
The bride is the daughter of Wendell and Laurie Skelley, of Canton. The groom is the son of Larry and Deanna Soper, of North Canton.
The matron of honor was Carrie Babcock. The bridesmaids were Melanie Stevenson and Sara O’Daniel.
The best men were Larry Soper and Greg Soper. The groomsmen were Mike Szymanski and Alex Skelley.
Isabella Szymanski was the flower girl.
The wedding reception took place at Greystone Hall. The couple honeymooned at Riviera Maya in Mexico. They reside in West Akron.
The bride is a graduate of North Canton Hoover High and The University of Akron. She is an interior designer and project manager at D.A. Levy and Associates — Architects.
The groom is a graduate
of GlenOakHigh School and Walsh
University. He is a graphic designer and the art director
at Today’s Bride magazine.
Vollmer, Adams wed
Johanna Vollmer and William Hall Adams were united in
marriage Sept. 1 in Colorado Springs, Colo., by Cheryl
Emily is the daughter of Janis Slowey, of Milwaukee. She has a bachelor’s degree from Colorado College and works in pharmaceutical sales.
William is the son of Mary and John Fazzio, of West Akron, and William and Janet Adams, of Hudson. He has a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and is a director of media and Internet media sales.
Kate Srigley, sister of the groom, was the maid of honor. Jack Slowey, brother of the bride, was the best man.
Jack Srigley, the nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer. Sarah Srigley, the niece of the groom, was the flower girl.
The reception took place at Hillside Gardens in Colorado Springs. The couple honeymooned in Italy and now reside in Colorado Springs.
