Coordinator thanks Bath community for support
To the editor:
I would like to offer my sincere thanks to all who gave of their time and gifts to Bath 9-1-1 ... A Day for Bill Martin. Both weekend events were a huge success, and we thank the Bath community of businesses and residents who really stepped up for Bill Martin.
The overwhelming support is deeply appreciated by the Martin family, and the success of both events would not have been possible without the help of our community of friends.
A special thank you goes out to Bob Serpentini and Ken Stewart for getting us started with the airline tickets for our top raffle prize, cash donations, the wine dinner for our auction and the donation of Ken Stewart’s wine for the dinner.
I also want to thank Jeannine Marks for coordinating a wonderful dinner for 300 people, along with the many cooks who assisted her throughout the day.
And lastly, a big thank you to all who attended our events and to the employees and families of Bath Township for giving in so many ways to our much loved friend.
