The 51-year-old company is owned by Jeremy Smith and includes a main site that offers a variety of mulch, topsoil, stone and gravel products, as well as animal feed and bedding located at 3087 Marks Road in Medina.
According to company officials, products available at the Smith Bros. main location include 20 varieties of mulch, three topsoil varieties and four compost mixes, as well as six stone and gravel products, animal bedding such as hay and sawdust, and nutrition for dogs, cats and farm animals.
Delivery of bulk mulch with a minimum 1-yard order is available Mondays through Saturdays.
Business hours are Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The business is closed Sundays.

In addition, Smith Bros. operates The Greenhouse at R.B. Stout, located at 1285 N. Cleveland-Massillon Road in Bath. The Greenhouse offers a variety of plants, mulches and topsoil.
The mulch products and topsoil include both bagged and bulk items, with a greater selection available for order through the Marks Road location, according to company officials.
The Greenhouse also sells a variety of flowers, houseplants and vegetable and herb plants.
Store Manager Seth Hartman said The Greenhouse has tropical plants such as mandevila and braided hibiscus that incorporate three-color varieties and would make good gifts for Mother’s Day. Also available are unique houseplants such as the ponytail palm, he said.
Annual bedding plants for the garden can be purchased in pots and flats, as well as hanging baskets that have single and multi-plant mixes, and patio pots that contain a single or variety of plants.
“We also have hostas and Knock Out™ roses that offer season-long blooms,” said Hartman. “Our bedding plants include selections for both sun and shade gardens.”
Hartman said various types of vegetables in several varieties and seven different herbs that can be used to start vegetable and herb gardens also are sold at The Greenhouse.
“These will provide fresh items for home cooking,” he added. “Our products are locally grown in Medina, and are vibrant, healthy plants that are flowering. We have a great place even just to come and walk through colorful displays.”
The Greenhouse business hours are Mondays through Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
