Valley home to new Greek restaurant
MERRIMAN VALLEY — Vasili’s Greek Cuisine is now open at 1702 Merriman Road.
The restaurant is owned and operated by Vasil Hajdari, who previously ran the Famous Greek Place in the food court at Summit Mall.
“Everything we cook is homemade, and all of the ingredients that we use are fresh and healthy because that’s what we want to do: Cook fresh and healthy food for our customers and to cook everything with love, because that’s how good things are done, with love and hard work,” Hajdari said.
The sit-down restaurant has 14 tables and accepts credit cards, he added.
The restaurant specializes in Greek favorites such as gyro sandwiches, salads and platters. Vasili’s also serves specials, with lamb shanks on Thursdays, beer-battered fish on Fridays and shrimp stirfry on Saturdays.
Vasili’s Greek Cuisine is open Mondays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. For more information, call 330-864-0722.
