CUYAHOGA FALLS — Davis Eye Center offers both medical and aesthetic services related to eye care.

The 25-year-old business is owned by Dr. Charles Davis and offices are located at 789 Graham Road in Cuyahoga Falls and 2680 W. Market St., which opened in Fairlawn one year ago to accommodate both current and new patients.

The full-service eye care available at Davis Eye Center includes comprehensive vision exams and evaluations for glasses and contact lenses, laser vision correction and cataract surgery, which are performed at the Cuyahoga Falls office, according to company officials.

According to the center’s website, www.daviseyecenter.com, Davis is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in laser vision correction and cataract surgery. He is a recipient of the VISX Star Award, which recognizes him as one of the top 10 percent of refractive surgeons in the nation. He graduated magna cum laude from West Virginia University in 1978 and received his medical degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in 1982, and completed his medical internship and ophthalmology residency at Doctors Hospital in Columbus. He is an associate clinical professor at Ohio University, a member of the International Society of Refractive Surgeons and has been on two mission trips to Mozambique to help the poor in need of vision care.

Also at the business is ophthalmologist Dr. Allison Siddall Landes, who specializes in cataract surgery. Landes received a bachelor’s degree in biology at Cedarville University, a medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, and completed her residency at Loyola University Medical Center/Edward Hines VA in Maywood, Ill., according to the website.

Landes said she and Davis are trained and certified to use the latest technology to perform vision correction surgeries and can do other medical surgeries for health issues such as glaucoma.

“Our customers tell us what sets us apart is our compassionate and caring staff,” she added. “They also appreciate our peaceful, beautiful offices.”

Davis Eye Center also offers cosmetic eye services such as eyelid surgery and facial rejuvenation services including Botox, Juvederm and Latisse.

In addition, the business has an optical department staffed by optometrists Dr. Todd Bischof and Dr. Thomas Shaheen.

The Fairlawn office can be reached at 330-864-3937 weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Cuyahoga Falls office can be reached at 330-923-5676 and has extended hours on Mondays until 7 p.m., Fridays from 7 a.m. and is open one Saturday a month.
