The practice, located at 1575 Corporate Woods Parkway, Suite 170, has been serving Green, Uniontown and surrounding communities for 37 years.
Cortesi said he and his staff use the latest techniques and quality materials to provide implant, cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
“We are not your average dental practice,” said Cortesi. “We don’t do anything halfway. We go above and beyond. It is something you are not going to get everywhere.”
Cortesi said he and his staff spend time talking to new patients at their first visit to answer questions and address concerns.
“It is not just about what I think should be done, it’s about what the patient wants done,” he added. “Our goal is to educate patients so that they can play an active role in preventing dental disease and to provide quality treatment to correct problems.”
That work includes a variety of available services, from restorative to corrective dentistry.
Dental implants are used to replace missing or extracted teeth, according to Cortesi. Single-visit crowns or caps, also are available.
“These crowns eliminate the need for multiple visits for our patients who don’t have the time to make several visits,” said Cortesi. “We shape and mold each crown to fit individual patients.”
Cosmetic services available at the practice include teeth whitening and veneers. Also available are Invisaline orthodontics, treatment for periodontal disease, restorative work such as fillings, and teeth cleaning.
“I am committed to providing the most advanced and comfortable care available,” said Cortesi.
That care includes using lasers for various types of procedures, he said.
“Lasers replace cutting, which reduces healing time in half,” said Cortesi.
Cortesi stated the office’s focus on the patient also includes providing comfort and stress-reducing distractions, such as a ceiling-mounted model train that runs through the waiting room and patient service area, as well as ceiling-mounted murals in the patient service area.
Cortesi said the practice was voted as the Beacon Journal’s Best Dentist in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
Cortesi received a bachelor’s degree in science from The University of Akron and a dental degree from The Ohio State University School of Dentistry in 1974. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Akron Dental Society and is a sponsor of the Special Olympics.
Office hours are Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. To schedule an appointment, call 330-896-5770.
