41st annual DSMA event honoring local executives Feb. 26

WEST AKRON — The Akron/Canton Affiliate of the Sales and Marketing Executives International (SMEI) has announced its winners of the Distinguished Sales and Marketing Award (DSMA) and will honor Dr. Frank Douglas, president and CEO of the Austen BioInnovation Institute in Akron, as Executive of the Year.

Robert Denton, founder of the Victim Assistance Program, will be honored as Outstanding Community Leader. The Jim Butler Collegiate Award recipient is Jacqueline Slack, of The University of Akron.

Also being honored are the following DSMA recipients:
