The two-and-a-half-year-old store is located at 101 Public Square. Owner Sue Mitchell said the store is her “retirement career,” and she named it for her four daughters, who helped her create the business.
“I believe in reuse, recycle and refurbish,” she said. “My goal was to create a fun and trendy store where women of all ages could shop.”
The store sells items on consignment and carries designer labels that include Coach, Dolce & Gabbana and Gucci, and department store labels such as Ann Taylor, Coldwater Creek and Talbots, according to Mitchell. She said these items are available for 50 percent to 70 percent below retail cost.
“We can help customers put together a great look for any occasion, whether casual, business or formal, and help them look their best for a fraction of the cost,” said Mitchell.
The store also has perfume and small décor items. In addition, Mitchell said she has many new items, such as scarves, jewelry and small gifts that are locally made, available in the store.
Mitchell said the store accepts items on consignment, and customers are asked to make sure everything is clean and unwrinkled when brought in. Summer clothing is being accepted through June, with no appointment necessary for dropping off items. Items are displayed for 60 days, with the store and the consignee sharing the profits equally. Items after the 60-day floor display period that are not picked up within seven days are donated to surrounding charities, she added.
The store’s summer hours are Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
