Johnson said he has more than 20 years of experience in the industry and has worked in a variety of positions, including floor manager and finance manager. He attended both the University of Cincinnati and University of Akron and has a certification in finance.
“I specialize in customers that need a fresh start because of less than perfect credit,” said Johnson. “I know bad things happen to good people. Sometimes it’s a job loss or medical bills or another situation, and now they are trying to get re-established and qualify for a loan.”
Johnson said he can help people improve their credit scores in order to make the purchase of a vehicle possible.
“I show people what their credit score is and what they need to do to improve it, and how to make it possible to purchase a new or used vehicle,” he said.
Johnson said there are a variety of things people can do to improve their credit scores, which can help them get a loan to purchase a new car or improve upon the one they have. He added he looks at a combination of things and offers several suggestions to assist people interested in purchasing a vehicle.
“I like to make it simple and to make it an easy experience to buy a car,” he said. “Typically, I can help anyone figure out how to make this happen. People can come in to talk to me to see what I can do to help them find the vehicle they need.”
Johnson said there is a large selection of used and new cars available at Bill Doraty Kia.
“We have new and pre-owned Kias here, all 2008 or newer, and they have less than 60,000 miles,” he said. “They all have some degree of a manufacturer’s warranty, and warranty extensions are available for purchase.”
Johnson said he is a long-time resident of Akron and active with youth in the community.
He is available to discuss credit issues with customers by appointment on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
