FAIRLAWN — Akron-area based personal injury law firm Kisling, Nestico and Redick LLC (KNR) recently gave away 1,000 turkeys in exchange for canned goods benefiting the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank. A line of vehicles waiting in line is shown above.

“This is the first year we’ve done a Thanksgiving food drive, and the turnout was so overwhelming and exciting, I look forward to making it a tradition at KNR,” said Managing Partner Rob Nestico. “We’ve worked closely with the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank in the past, most recently for the Polar Bear Jump, in which we raised close to $11,000. They are a great organization, and we love being able to work with them to give back to our community.”

KNR also serves as a drop-off location for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program, which is currently running, and is raising funds for the Selfless Elf 5K Run, again benefiting the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, scheduled for Dec. 21. For more information on that, visit www.akroncantonfoodbank.org and click on “Selfless Elf 5k Run” under “Upcoming Events.”

“I’m very proud that our attorneys and staff continue to … donate their time and money to helping people in need, not just during the holiday season, but throughout the year, as well,” Nestico said.
