AssuredPartners acquires Evans Insurance Agency Inc.
BATH — AssuredPartners Inc., through its Dawson Cos. platform, has acquired Evans Insurance Agency Inc.
The agency specializes in business insurance, including Workers’ Compensation, liability and group employee benefit plans; personal insurance, including home, automobile and renters’ insurance; and life and health services, including life insurance, long-term care and estate planning.
Evans Insurance Agency was founded in 1876 and reports approximately $2 million in revenue.

Greater Akron Chamber plans 2014 travel
GREATER AKRON — The Greater Akron Chamber is offering its members and the entire community new travel destinations for 2014.
The Canyon Country trip will take place in Arizona, Utah and Nevada June 12-20. This program includes round-trip airfare from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, with highlights that include Scottsdale, Oak Creek Canyon, Kaibab National Forest, Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Monument Valley, Bryce Canyon National Park, Zion National Park, Las Vegas and more.
Book by Jan. 12 to save $100. The regular price is $3,379 for a single, $2,729 for a double and $2,699 for a triple.
The trip to Tuscany and the Italian Riviera will be Nov. 3-10. The program will include several unique culinary experiences, according to chamber officials. The excursion includes round-trip airfare from Cleveland, with highlights that include a Tuscan estate, Tuscan winery, Florence, Uffizi Gallery, Siena, Monteriggioni, Lucca, Pisa, the Italian Riviera, Cinque Terre, Portofino and more.
Book by April 28 and save $250. The regular cost is $3,749 for a single, $3,449 for a double and $3,419 for a triple.
