MEDINA — Advanced Spine Joint & Wellness Center is a state-of-the-art facility offering multi-disciplined medicine, according to owner Troy Naftzer.

The center has offices in Wadsworth and Independence, and six months ago opened a site at 3591 Reserve Commons Drive, Suite 100, in Medina.

“We are passionate about helping people live a more functional life, especially those who have limitations,” said Naftzer. “We are here and ready to help clients.”

Naftzer said the center offers medical services, physical therapy, chiropractic care, spinal rehabilitation, neuropathy treatment, assistance for weight loss, various massage therapies and pain management. The medical services available at the center include diagnostic ultrasound, joint injections, medically directed rehabilitation, nerve conduction study and trigger point injunctions for areas of pain.

Also available is allergy testing, treatment for pain that helps to avoid the use of medication and reduce the need for surgery, as well as state-of-the-art treatments for headaches.

Naftzer said the center recently added robotic laser therapy to help patients needing pain management.

According to Naftzer, the center uses a team approach and integrated services to improve and maximize the health of its clients. He added the staff includes a sports medicine trained medical doctor, an orthopedic physician’s assistant, a family nurse practitioner, a nutritionist and chiropractor, as well as others. Naftzer said all personnel are licensed and experienced.

The team is available to address a patient’s need from one location, making it more convenient for the client, according to Naftzer.

“We understand that although our patients may be diagnosed with the same condition, they respond very differently to treatments,” he said. “For this reason, we tailor a specific plan of action to meet the needs of each patient.”

The center offers a free consultation/conversation to new patients by appointment. Center officials state that all insurance plans and Medicare, as well as Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, motor vehicle and personal injury claims are accepted.

Office hours are Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon and 3 to 6 p.m., and Tuesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to noon.

To make an appointment, call 330-721-6504.
