Guaranteed Rate launches new location in Fairlawn
FAIRLAWN — Mortgage lender Guaranteed Rate will serve area homeowners and buyers seeking mortgage help at its first retail site in Northeast Ohio, at 55 S. Miller Road.
Founded in 2000, Guaranteed Rate offers low-rate, low-fee mortgages and superior customer service, according to company officials. The company has approximately 175 offices nationwide, including two in Ohio, and is licensed in all 50 states and Washington, D.C. It funded nearly $16 billion in loans in 2013.
The new Fairlawn location is managed by Karen Sharp, branch manager and vice president of mortgage lending.

According to company officials, CryoTherapy is an anti-inflammatory treatment developed in Japan involving skin exposure to ultra-low temperatures for a brief, controlled time. The applications include improved athletic performance, postsurgical recovery and relief from rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, musculoskeletal injuries, autoimmune disorders, skin disorders such as dermatitis and psoriasis, and improved skin elasticity, according to company officials.
For those interested in trying the process, CryoTherapy Plus is offering a first freeze for $25.
Hours are Mondays through Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Fridays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
