SHARON — Ultrabuilt Play Systems offer children healthy and active outdoor play.

According to Julie Bennett, who owns the 22-year-old business with her husband, Steve Bennett, Ultrabuilt locally manufactures play set components, which have a lifetime warranty.

Julie Bennett said the systems are made with U.S. pine lumber and are pressure-treated using an environmentally preferable treatment that guards against rot, decay and termites. She added the triple-strength beams are engineered to resist warping, sagging and twisting, and hold up to 1,000 pounds.

Bennett stated another feature of Ultrabuilt Play Systems is that they can be designed to suit personal tastes and needs. The play system has a variety of different components to create backyard fun.

These components include a variety of swings, including seats for infants and toddlers, and a belt swing, disk swing, tire swing, bench swing and glider; a trapeze bar and monkey bars with rings, all with commercial grade hangers; various types of slides, such as wave slides and turbo tunnels, all with heavy-duty, double-wall construction; various types of clubhouses; ladders; rock climbing walls; cargo climbers; fire poles; swing bridges; gangplanks; and canopy roofs for clubhouses in blue, green, yellow, striped and special orders of pink or purple, all made of tear-resistant, 18-ounce marine-grade vinyl.

In addition, clubhouses can be designed with a sandbox and cover in the lower level. Play set accessories include binoculars, a periscope, punching bag and steering wheel.

Bennett said the play sets can also grow with children as they age. This means parents can choose a simple set for very young children and add more complex activities as they age. Pieces also may be added as the number of users increases and as budgets allow.

According to Bennett, orders can be shipped within two weeks and assistance with installation is available. She added all items are in stock, and those who choose can pick up components and take them home the day the order is processed. She added the system comes with “parent friendly instructions.”
