Springfield Bog flowering
By Maria Lindsay
SPRINGFIELD — Despite the recent drought, Springfield Bog Metro Park, which opened in January 2011 at 1400 Portage Line Road, has an abundance of life in its developing prairie fields.
The park includes flora and fauna, as shown at right top and middle and at left, and also offers an easy 1.6-mile paved walking trail, pictured at right bottom.
